Information we collect

We collect the details you provide through our enquiry form, email or during care. These may include your name, email, optional phone number, suburb, animal details and your message. If a visit is arranged, we may also need your visit address and relevant animal health and treatment information.

Our hosting provider may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to operate and protect the website. We have not added advertising trackers or website analytics.

How we use it

We use information to respond to enquiries, arrange and provide veterinary care, communicate with you, maintain relevant records and meet applicable legal obligations. If you choose not to provide information needed for an enquiry or visit, we may be unable to help.

Service providers and sharing

The website is hosted by Vercel. Form submissions are processed by Resend for email delivery, and enquiries received by email are handled through Yahoo Mail. These providers may process or store information overseas, including in the United States. Their own privacy policies also describe their handling of information: Vercel, Resend and Yahoo.

We may share relevant information with another veterinary provider with your consent, or when required or permitted by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage and protection

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Website enquiries are handled through email rather than a client account or booking database. Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed for care, administration or applicable recordkeeping requirements, then securely deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.

Access, corrections and concerns

You can email us to request access to your information, ask for a correction or raise a privacy concern. Please describe your request; we may need to confirm your identity before releasing information. We will review your concern and respond. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about privacy complaint options that may apply.
